• I am a career educator with both general education and special education experience in public schools.

• I have taught children from a multitude of backgrounds and socioeconomic areas.

• I have had the opportunity to teach in both affluent and Title I schools, and realize the importance of providing equitable educational opportunities for all children.

• As the spouse of a former military member, I've spent years working with Navy and Marine families and the demands that military families face surrounding their children's education.

​

• In addition to my teacher duties, I am an active PTA and CTA member.
